This competition is Beer Judge Certification Program sanctioned, and will be following privacy and double blind standards in American Judging format (1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd Place). 

Competition Dates

Entries Open April 20, 2010

Entries Close May 5, 2010

Judging May 1-14, 2010

Final Judging May 16, 2010

Categories:

This competition will use the same rules and categories as the California State Fair Homebrew Competition

Awards:

1st, 2nd & 3rd place winners will receive Ribbons, the 1st place winners will also receive an individually sand etched glasses.

The Best of Show (or equivalent) will receive a ribbon and  a sand etched best of show glasses

Size of best of show panel depends on number of entries.  Organizers reserve the right to subdivide large categories into manageable flight sizes which could increase number of categories.

Awards Presented at Cal Expo May 24, 2009 1pm.

Winners will be on display during the run of the Sacramento County Fair.
